April 16th...new toy!!

April 14th...ready for swim lessons

Owen started swim lessons on Tuesday.  Today was his 2nd class.  He loves it.  He has 4 girls in his class. He is the only boy.  He loves catching and throwing the ball in the water and swimming after the toys.

April 13th...what is on my foot?

April 12th...snack time

Owen went to the pantry, got the Ritz, climbed into the chair, and started helping himself!

April 11th...first skinned knee of the summer

Owen fell when we were leaving the LaCrosse game.  The blood kind of freaked him out I think.

April 6th...showing off the new do

Yesterday I was regretting having Owen's hair cut.  But today, I feel different.  He just looks so cute an so grown up.  Love him!

 We went to Ms. Maegan's for Owen's first real haircut.  He was so good.  He was still and it didn't seem to bother him at all.  

The clippers did not even bother him.

April 3rd...super boy

I had already gotten my pic of the day but tonight Owen put a bib on backwards like a cape!  Where has he ever seen this?  I don't know but I couldn't resist.  

 Super boy is very strong...he can lift a step stool!

March 13th...cool cowboy

March 12th...falling off the step stool

Owen has been spending so much time on the step stool checking out the clothes in the washer...I guess he got a little too comfortable, stepped off the wrong way, and landed on his forehead.  Poor little baby, I think that will leave a bruise.

2 for one...March 11th

We have been so busy with getting the house ready to put on the market to sell that I forgot to take a picture of Owen for March 10th.  So, I got two good ones for March 11th.

Owen is still into doing the laundry.  This morning he heard to dryer buzzer and he went into where I keep his step stool and pointed until he made me understand what he wanted to do.  Then we put clothes in the washer and he was fascinated.  

Owen is allergic to peanut butter and we just got his epi-pen.  Joe and I were practicing with the trainer pen to see how much pressure to use so Owen decided to try it out on my leg.  He totally mimics everything we do.

March 9th...covered up

I'll admit...I forgot to take the picture for today.  So I decided it would have to be another sleeping baby picture.  But after I saw what I got...I was pleased.  This is typical of Owen.   He cannot stand any light in his face while he sleeps.  (He has the pillow pet on his face.)

March 8th...drumming

Owen has been drumming on Kelsey's drums.  Today he had the paint stirrers and saw the paint cans lined up in the garage and he went at it!

March 7th...planting

With the nice weather, we decided to get a few plants.  Owen loved digging in the dirt and pouring it.  He also loved the watering can.  It was just a little too heavy for him.

March 3rd...18 months and a haircut

 I did the back and Joe did the bangs.  We will get a real hair-person to give him a style.  (I'll be sure to post those as well.)

March 2nd...here (or hair) today, gone tomorrow

So, tomorrow Owen will be 18 months.  And it is the day that he gets his hair cut.  

March 1st...Ketchup for the first time

We went to the Redneck Gourmet tonight for dinner.  Owen had ketchup for the first time.  He loved it and it grossed me out.  I hate ketchup!!!

February 25th-28th...catching up from the weekend

 February 25th...making a mess at Grandma's then trying out the blow drier.

 Feb. 26th...playing ball with Aunt Carolyn and cousins, Madison and Audrey.

 Feb. 27th...giving Nanny a flower.  Oh, so sweet.

I went to wake up Owen this morning and he just looked so sweet, peaceful, and angelic.  I had to get the camera.  What a great way I get to start my day.  I am one lucky momma!

February 22nd...playing with the potty

Owen's since of humor is really coming out.  I bought this potty the other day, not because I think he is ready yet but because I had a coupon, and he has been checking it out.  This morning he just sat down and smiled at me.  He is a really funny little boy.

February 21st...how does this work?

Owen is always trying to figure out how things work...This is a flashlight that you crank to make work.  He was trying his best to crank it!
